Oh yeah, my co-manager said something along the lines of ”You all think Naomi’s innocent and quiet, but no, she’s playing dumb. She has a hidden agenda. She’s basically a Slytherin.”

Got off work and had the strangest craving for samosas. So I got some.

Hey there! :) I can’t speak for all of New York because I have to say it truly depends on where in New York we’re talking about. I have no idea what it’s like upstate or beyond Manhattan for that matter. Speaking for myself, I live on Long Island -Nassau- which is a suburban environment. Everyone around here drives and again depending on where in Long Island, people can be a little snooty :/. More friendly than snooty though. City wise people are friendly, funny, and chatty, whether you’re on line at the movie theater or ordering food. Um, there are various modes of transportation and things are fast paced. But the pigeons own everything. 

My co-worker, who doesn’t really enjoy working at the store, told me to Google up job reviews for our bookstore. And as I’m looking at the reviews, I find one titled: “Work here if you are a masochist.”

I just snorted.
